Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Operations & CI, you will lead a site team with 7 direct reports and 31 indirect reports, focusing on:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the site strategy for this 24-hour facility, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Safety & Culture: Champion a safety-first culture and an unrelenting focus on quality, driving the 'Target Zero' objective.
• People Development: Build and mentor an effective Site Leadership Team, fostering an environment of trust and psychological safety.
• Operational Excellence: Own the site's financial delivery and drive continuous improvement, using data to optimize performance across all production and maintenance activities.

What You'll Need:

• Experience: 5-10 years in comprehensive production and supply chain management, with 3-5 years in leading and managing teams.
• Expertise: Extensive experience managing health and safety, quality, and environment systems. Proven knowledge of managing budgets, inventory, and cost control.
• Education: A Tertiary (Degree) Management Qualification is essential. Advanced Feed Milling qualification or equivalent (or progress toward) is required.
• Capabilities: Strong analytical thinking, ability to manage change, and effective coaching skills to develop and empower others.
